Ring of Kerry

We toured the Ring of Kerry today - everyone wanted a photo of "Ladies View". We were hoping for better weather for this one.

From Blarney to Killarney

We left Blarney yesterday and had a beautiful drive to Killarney. We drove to Kinsale and stopped at Charles Fort. Then drove on to Bantry and Kenmare before our arrival in Killarney.

We went to Cobh in County Cork and experienced the Titanic Trail Walk with our good friend, Michael Martin. We went to the Heritage Center and St. Colman's Cathedral.

A great meal followed by wonderful traditional Irish music!!
We met some new friends at the Blarney Castle Hotel.

Ireland April 2010

After several delays and complications, we are all finally in Ireland. Most everyone arrived on Monday, April 26 and we have a wonderful tour of Dublin City. Some of the sites we visited were the Hill of Howth where the gorse was in full bloom and the view across the Irish sea was spectacular. There are many new sights in Dublin but we enjoyed the gardens of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. We fed the seals in Howth before be fed ourselves at the Oar House – a wonderful meal.
